The Hi-Fi Industry Stands with Ukraine

Russia’s barbaric and immoral invasion of Ukraine has created the largest humanitarian disaster in Europe since WW II. More than 3.5 million Ukrainians have already been forced to flee the war and take refuge in neighboring Poland, Slovakia, Moldova, Germany, and Romania.

An additional 7 million Ukrainian civilians have been displaced by the Russian campaign which has left cities like Mariupol, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Luhansk in ruins. Dozens of Ukrainian villages have been systematically erased from the map with thousands of civilian casualties.

The Ukrainian military has put up very stiff resistance for the past month and heroically continues to defend and counter-attack against the Russian onslaught.

Putin’s “de-Nazification” of Ukraine has also led to the destruction of movie theaters, museums, art galleries, concert halls, schools, and universities to erase not only the people of Ukraine but their culture as well.

For those of us from Ukraine and neighboring Poland, Romania, and Slovakia – this war brings back painful memories of genocide of innocent men, women, and children in Eastern Europe.

No one can stop the fighting but we can provide immediate relief to the millions of people who are suffering.

Those of us who are in contact with friends, relatives, and fellow journalists and members of the Hi-Fi and vinyl community in Ukraine have heard stories and seen evidence of Russian atrocities that are almost impossible to fathom in 2022.

How Can You Help?

Designed by eCoustics, Editor-in-Chief, Ian White, and Analog Restorations, CEO, Christopher Rensman, these Limited Edition Cork Platter Mats commemorate Ukrainian resistance and the spirit of the brave people of this country under assault.

Both platter mats are manufactured from the highest grade of cork and are custom printed to last many years of playing time on your turntable.

Each unique cork platter mat is limited to 2,500 units priced at $39 USD each.

For the price of a single new record, you can provide immediate assistance to those in need.  From the purchase of each limited edition platter mat, 100% of the profits will go directly to Ukrainian Relief Organizations to feed refugees and to aid the elderly, disabled, animals, artists, and for “non-lethal” aid in support of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
