These are groups that we feel really do a good job at representing the audio community as a whole. From the information that is given, the honesty that is conveyed, and individual character of the people sharing it.
We do not pay for reviews nor do we work with any review based group that asks for money.
We believe, while that is the business of others and they are entitled to do so, it leads to a large and continued separation from the core values of what the audio world should be for people. Additionally, that misinformation or misleading information, from many different sources and platforms, does not facilitate the ability for people to have a personal experience and the grasp the full potential of the hobby.....
.......which is against the entire principles of music.
If you head over and start to watch Chris Guinan at The Vinyl Attack, it would not take long to notice that his presentation is unlike any other channel. He is open and concise in detail and opinion. There is a certain captivation about his delivery, followed up by his extreme level detail and immense time that he spends gathering the correct info. There are no special effects, and as matter of fact, we don't even think he moves from the table. Ordinarily one would say that would surely and most definitely be boring. However, that does not hold true for anything about his show. The level of detail, the clarity and ease in which it can be understood, and the way it is delivered, make Chris and The Vinyl Attack one of Analog Restorations favorites. It is hard to find a show that lays out the facts and promotes free thinking. You will always be left with solid information that allows you to get what it is you want out of audio and the experience as a whole.
No criticism, no BS, no fluff, and always fascinating. As Chris would say, if that's your thing, you've found your place.
